Proceeds from this event help to coordinates the various events of filmmaking throughout the year: such as the networking events and focused training groups, runs an in-depth video production educational program, and coordinates film events like the annual Providence 48 Hour Film Project. In the past, the group also sponsored an exhaustive study by Dr. Edward Mazze on the economic impact of the film industry and the film tax credit on Rhode Island businesses.
