Or support local film and score some quality entertainment by purchasing the Best Of on DVD or blu-ray. You can do so online or in person at various RIFC events.

Rock & Reel

"Hey, that 48 Hour Film Project seems really interesting - are there any reasonably similar but distinguishable events coming up?  Hopefully one with a less strict time-frame and maybe some cool local musical acts?"

You're in luck.  The inaugural Rock & Reel is gearing up to make a splash in October.

That's right - it's Rock-tober, Hip Hop-tober, Plastic Soul-tober and many more as local musical acts of every genre will collaborate with area filmmakers to produce a narrative music video in just one week.

Show your love and support for the Rhode Island Film Collaborative by becoming a premium member.  Without your support, we wouldn't be able to offer all the programs and services we've built up to help local filmmakers.

We're working on getting even more member benefits but mainly, if you like what we've been doing - from the 48 Hour Film Project, to our classes and free specialty groups (acting, writing, FX, etc.), to our tax credit impact research, to our official productions, this is a great way to show your support.

The more paid members we have, the better our bargaining for more member treats, grants, etc. A full year is only $20, and you can sign up here
