Key Positions on "Misconceptions"

Nicholas Iandolo wrote a short film called "Misconceptions" and he sent it to us. Evan Hatten wrote to us and is now going to direct it.  See easy that was?  By expressing interest and describing your qualifications, YOU TOO can work on this project.   Getting on a set is tough, and landing a key position can be nearly impossible - the people at RIFC Productions want to help you overcome this.

We are currently accepting applications for:

Director of Photography

Editor

Production Designer

Production Manager

If you are interested in the opportunity to work on "Misconceptions", email  productions@rifcfilms.com.  Include the position for which you are applying in the subject line and state your case.  If you have more enthusiasm then experience, don't let that dissuade you:  We're in the business of giving the right people a chance to show what they can do.

"Self-Storage"

Congratulations to everyone at
The Woodhaven Production Company, who recently began filming their new film "Self-Storage".  Tom DeNucci writes and directs with a cast including Eric Roberts, Michael Berryman, Jonathan Silverman as well as countless local talents.
"Villanelle" Premieres

Not just a form of poetry, "Villanelle" is also a new feature film from Cut to the Chase Productions.  The trailer showed before each of the 48HFP screenings (including "family friendly" night because I'm a moron) and you'll have your chance to see the complete work at its premiere on August 18th at CinemaWorld
"Cat Scratch" Premieres

Another hit with 48HFP audiences was "Cat Scratch".  This Christian de Rezendes-directed short will premiere at the Brooklyn Coffee & Tea House's Film Showcase on Thursday, September 6th.
"Murder University" Premiere

Scorpio Film Releasing, creators of "The Disco Exorcist",
will have the world premiere for their feature film "Murder University" on August 5th.

Showings will be at 7pm & 9pm at CinemaWorld.  Tickets are $10 (advance tickets available)

The film is directed by Richard Griffin ("Nun of That"), written by Lenny Schwartz and produced by Ted Marr ("Atomic Brain Invasion") and Kristin Kayala ("The Disco Exorcist").
