Calling all directors! The RIFC Production committee is now looking for directors for the next short film project. All potential applicants should send their info to productions@rifcfilms.com.

 Upcoming corporate shoot is looking for locals that look like the cast of characters from "Storage Wars" on A&E: Jarrod and Brandi, Dave, Dan and Laura, Barry, and Darrell.  These are paid positions open to actors and non-actors alike.

Casting for lead roles!

 Upcoming  Scorpio Film Releasing is casting for their newest short film MOTHERLOVE, written by Jennifer Scharf and directed by Richard Griffin.
 

 

We are currently filling these four lead roles:

 

HANK - Gruff former police officer. Alcoholic. Father. 
SHARLENE - Female, work at home mother. Frustrated. 
GARY - Layabout son to Hank and Sharlene. 
APRIL - Pretty, kind-hearted and slightly naive. 

Auditions will be held on June 4th and 5th from 7pm to 9pm at the Pawtucket Visitor's Center at 175 Main Street in Pawtucket.

Please bring a headshot and current resume (Or e-mail it in advance to scorpiodirector@gmail.com) Readings will be from the screenplay, so no need to prepare a monologue. 

 

Registration for the 48-Hour Film Project is Now Open

 

The 48-Hour Film Project comes to Providence July 13 - 15.

 

Competing teams will have a meager two days to produce the best short film that they can. The Providence winner will go on to compete against short films from around the world.

 

Sign up soon! Space is limited. Register by June 18 to get a reduced registration fee.

It's time to claim your spot in this year's project. That's right, registration for the Providence 48HFP 2012 is OPEN!! The early bird rate of $140 per team is in effect through Monday, June 18 - after that it jumps up to $160.

As always, 48HFP will bring a wild weekend of filmmaking fun to our city. You'll see filmmakers throughout the city rushing to create a 4-7 min film in only 48 hours. Armed with a genre, character, prop and line of dialogue our fearless filmmakers will make their way through the cinematic jungle and emerge with a creative masterpiece.
