The ghostly Sprague Mansion in Cranston will be the site for the All Hallows Eve Masquerade Ball, an event to benefit the new non-profit organization SENE (Southeast New England Film, Music & Art) and The Cranston Historical Society. This semi-formal event will feature local artists Cyril Place, Gothic Photographer and Anne Tait, Graveyard Artist. Also in attendance wi ll be Dr. Michael Bell, author of “Food for the Dead: On the Trail of New England’s Vampires”. There will be theatrical events, music and a very special occurrence at midnight. The cost for the event is $50 per person.
On November 1 and 2 SENE’s first annual Cauldron of Nightmares Film Festival will be held at the Columbus Theater. We will have afternoon and evening screenings of horror films hand selected by our very own Horror Staff. The cost for each screening will be $8, seniors and students $5.00. Those attending our Masquerade Ball will receive free admittance to all screenings upon presentation of their Halloween Ball ticket.
