Casting Call for the 30 minute film “WAKE” by Sari Gagnon

Non-union Indy film, in RI area.
“Wake” is a glimpse into the life of a woman who is suffering from the death of her long-time love. Her friends comically rally around in support of her, as she struggles with depression and her faith in God.
10 roles to be cast:
Samantha: Female, late 20’s early 30s. John’s girlfriend, grieves terribly, Can cry!
John: Male, late 20’s early 30’s. Can be physically aggressive, and play drunk.
Carolyn: Female, late 20’s early 30’s. Strong character, will be made to look pregnant. Angry at John, concerned for Samantha.
Albert: Male, late 20’s early 30’s. Carolyn’s husband. Comedic relief, yet concerned for Samantha.
Doug: Male, Late 20’s early 30’s. Fun-loving.
Cindy: Female, 20’s. Doug’s wife. Caring, and can cry.
Brian: Male, 11-12. Smart, mature. Can handle dialogue.
Tracey: Female, 20’s. She’s sexy and jealous of Samantha.
Funeral Director: Male/Female, varied age.
Doctor: Male/Female, varied age.
