There is an open casting this Sunday from 10am to 2pm at 951 North Main St. Providence, RI 02906 (the KLR building). This is for a couple of RIFC and Non-RIFC projects that are starting very soon, including Green Grass, Blood Fruit and the Passion of the Ninja.
To Actors: Please bring your résumé and headshot, as well as a prepared monologue. Sides will also be available. Some of the projects include period pieces. SAG and Non-Union are both welcome as both types of projects will be on hand.
To Directors: If you would like to attend to see potential talent, you are welcome to attend. A small number of other directors will already be present. You may watch the lead director go through the casting motions with the actors and then if you see any you like, you may pull them aside after their audition so that they may have a separate audition with you in another room. You must be there by 10am to help set up if you are interested in taking advantage of this opportunity.

Our apologies for the mix-up at the March 6 meeting. I will make sure that does not happen again by calling the day before our meeting to confirm that the room is secured for us.
The RI Film panel last night at Borders' was a great success, and we have at least one new member. Let's give a big welcome to Jacqueline Marie Middler!
Our next meeting will be on March 20th at 7pm at McFadden's (52 Pine St in downtown Providence). Since I am in a play at Second Story Theatre and have rehearsal that night, I will be unable to attend but will find a replacement to be there alongside Chach.
Please bring monologues, scenes, audition material, etc and I'll be missing you all that night!
