I launching a new weekly half-hour web series entitled *Behind the Doc
Lens *in the Fall, 2010. *Behind the Doc Lens* will demystify all aspects
of documentary filmmaking. My goal is to profile prominent New England
documentary artists that exemplify concepts established by Bill Nichols in
"Modes of Documentary.
Each episode will profile emerging or established documentary filmmakers,
their experiences in the film industry, and respective challenges completing
films on controversial subject matter. Ideally, these interviews will
include aspects of proposal writing, recruiting the crew, sound design and
cinematography, marketing and distribution.
*Behind the Doc Lens* is looking for your thoughts as we embark on this

IG Media Productions is looking to HIRE a female host with experience to host a Talk Show that focuses on Documentary Filmmakers around New England (more details given with inquiry). The show is schedule to start filming in late May and will air on different Internet outlets and various public access stations in New England and New York. This is a very exciting project that will have a lot of press, marketing, and exposure!
