C.P. Casting is Seeking:

[A] Men or Women, actors OR non-actors, who currently have (or have had) a head and neck cancer and are willing to share their personal experiences and stories for an awareness campaign for a major pharmaceutical company for various forms of media (TV, print, Web). H&N cancer is basically from the throat up, but excludes the Brain, Thyroid, and the Esophagus. H&N cancer is most common in the Oral cavity (mouth and/or tongue), Nasopharyx, Larynx (voicebox), and the Oropharynx and Hypopharynx (base of tongue, soft palate, tonsils, etc.)

This is a shoot that is scheduled for Tuesday, December 16 in Plainsboro, NJ.
All travel expenses will be paid.
[Therefore you would need to be available to travel/work in NJ for the shoot December 16.]

---------- OR ----------

[B] Men or Women, union or non-union, ACTORS, 40-50 years old, who have Type 2 Diabetes, and currently are (or were at one time) on diabetes medication, and are willing to share their personal experiences and stories for an awareness campaign for a major pharmaceutical company for various forms of media (TV, print, Web). Most of this campaign is scripted, and thererfore they are seeking ACTORS who HAVE Type 2 Diabetes.

This is a shoot that is scheduled for Wednesday, December 17 in Plainsboro, NJ.
All travel expenses will be paid.
[Therefore you would need to be available to travel/work in NJ for the shoot December 17.]

---------- AND ----------

Appropriate, interested, and available men and women would need to come to an audition this THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 20, sometime between 10:00am and 3:30pm, and put put on tape for a couple of minutes telling your story or reading from a script. Auditions are at: C.P. Casting, 537 Tremont St., Boston, MA 02116

Those who would like to audition also must CALL C.P. Casting at 617-451-0996 and leave a message in AUDITION MAILBOX #2 to let us know what TIME on Thursday you can come to C.P. Casting in Boston. If you don't hear back from us, we'll see you on Thursday. There will be a few people to meet you at the audition, so knowing what TIME you will be coming is important.

This is well paid work, and paid according to union rules for TV broadcast and web usage. Whatever form your story ends up in, you will be compensated for each. It will be a SAG shoot, but it is not necessary to be a SAG member to audition.
