The Weymouth Movie Studio Project

This comes to us from Chuck Slavin:

"Hello Friends,

I have currently been in contact with Representatives from the Weymouth Movie Studio project. I would like to help speed the push of legislation through to allow a new film studio to be built in Weymouth, Ma.

This Studio Complex would allow movies to be filmed year round in Boston and adjacent communities. This complex would also create 1,200 new high paying jobs for the surrounding community.

I ask that you please contact the Governor’s office and tell him that you fully support the legislation that will allow the studio to be built.

I have added this link here for easy access… http://www.mass.gov/?pageID=gov3utilities&sid=Agov3&U=Agov3_contact_us
There is an email form on this page. Please add “Weymouth Studio Supporter” in the subject line.

I also urge you to contact these three officials and their offices. Here are their email addresses:

Therese.Murray@state.ma.us
Rep.SalvatoreDiMasi@hou.state.ma.us
Rep.RonaldMariano@hou.state.ma.us

Here are two article links on the project…

If you are not a resident of Massachusetts I ask that you still please contact the Governors office to show that this studio will have an affect on business and tourism.

Thank you in advance for all your help,"
