This comes from the Rhode Island International Film Festival:"We are pleased to report that we have received a grant of $2000 from the Rhode Island State Council on the Arts (RISCA) to support programming for our annual RI Student Film Festival.
This event is an opportunity for Rhode Island student filmmakers, ages 8 thru 26, to participate in a juried film competition, to interact with both seasoned professionals and their filmmaking peers, and to exhibit artistic works to a diverse audience.
This special program is designed to showcase the talent base within our state and provide a platform to not only encourage their work, but reach a larger audience."
