The Rhode Island Film & Television Office, the Academy of Motion Pictures, Arts & Sciences and the American Diabetes Foundation are proud to present an exciting evening of Hollywood glamour in Providence, Rhode Island on Oscar® Night.
Experience the thrills and surprises of the 80th Academy Awards® on Sunday, February 24, 2008 at Providence's own Oscar® Night America party to benefit the American Diabetes Association. "Dress to impress" in Hollywood glitz as the red carpet is rolled out at Rhode Island's most glamorous location, the Providence Biltmore's elegant Rooftop Ballroom.
Beginning at 6:30 PM, red carpet arrivals will be covered live by ABC 6 during their 30-minute live Oscar® Night America pre-show.
The Providence event is one of 52 official parties sanctioned by the Academy of Motion Picture, Arts and Sciences that will be held across the country on Oscar® Night. The event is black-tie optional.
