RIFC - Rhode Island Film Collaborative - Independent Films and Filmmakers in RI

Filmaking Through Community

Monday, January 7, 2008

The Boston Cinema Census (BCC) is an annual short film screening event - a survey of the most interesting and innovative short works created by New England filmmakers—students, professionals, artists, and film enthusiasts alike.

Throughout its history the BCC has proven to be a key launching pad for New England filmmakers. Past BCC films have gone on to strong festival runs, moving next to festivals such as the New York Film Festival, SXSW and the Tribeca Film Festival. The films presented at the BCC each year span the interests of narrative, documentary and experimental film. It is a vehicle for emerging visual artists to demonstrate their place in the local filmmaking community and an opportunity for audiences to experience current trends in local filmmaking and witness the creative aspirations of their makers.

As always, BCC 7 is hosted by the historic Brattle Theatre in Cambridge, MA!

This is not an RIFC Production.
