Description of event :

A first-of-its-kind event in the nation, the 48 Days Later Screening marks a new initiative from the RI Film Collaborative. The 48 Hour Film Project is a rite of passage for any up-and-coming filmmaker; in only 48 hours, filmmakers from every major city in the country compete to make the best 7 minute film possible in only 48 hours. Now, with the 48 Days Later Screening, filmmakers who competed in the Providence 48 Hour Film Project will get a "second chance" to extend, trim, edit and ultimately finalize their work with the promise of seeing their work on the big screen on Wednesday, September 19th from 7-10 PM at the Paff Auditorium at URI's Feinstein Center in Providence. (80 Washington Street, Providence.)
