Update on the official RIFC production of The Perfect Day for a Picnic

The project is coming together nicely and we have planned shooting dates for mid January. The crew has been working very hard to get everything in place but is still looking for some help in some areas. The final call backs for cast are being held on Sunday, January 9th.

We are pleased to announce the following crew positions have been filled:

Art Director - Cat Marshall
Locations Manager - Mike Bounanno
Production Manager - Erica Mills
Make-up Artist - Allison Barbera

Please find below a list of items needed to help make this community production possible. Donations can be invoiced and are tax deductible as the RIFC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. To make a donation of an item or a funding donation please contact us at productions@rifcfilms.com or contact us about dropping something off at the networking meeting or at RIFC headquarters.

Donations for the building of the "Bedroom Set"
/2" thick 4'x8' sheets of luan
2 1/2" thick 4'x8' sheets of plywood
8 bundles of 8" long 1/3" strapping
10 2'x4's that are 8' long

We are always looking for help on RIFC projects and have not yet filled all of our crew positions. Call for scripts for the next RIFC production will be announced shortly. We will again be looking for scripts of 5 pages or less. Any genre.

1 box of sheet rock nails
5 gallons of tintable paint (light green)
5gallons of primer

Wallpaper (can be old, tacky, and/or dirty)
Donations for Set Dressing
FULL sized mattress and boxspring
old picture frames (bigger is better)
a few old TV Guides
a few old magazines and newspapers

Donations for Props
used tea kettle that has some "character"
metal workman's thermos and/or lunchbox that looks used
harmonicas - metal (not plastic), as many as possible, in their boxes would be great

Donations for Special Effects
liquid latex
plasticine clay
liquid glycerin
metal wire (various gauges)
metal tubing (less than quarter inch guages)
"2 part puddy" epoxy
"2 part liquid" epoxy

Donations for Locations Department
2 boxes of 55 gallon garbage bags
10-15, 18 inch cones
case of toilet paper
case of paper towels
8 bottles of hand soap
