July 8 - Pimp Your Ride

Director of Photography, Brian Heltzer, rigs a Honda FIT using the latest camera mounts and techniques with a focus on safety and cinematic elegance. This session will take place in a big tent on the Rule/Boston Camera parking lot on Western Avenue. 10am to Noon.

July 15 - The State of Solid State

Director of Technology, Tom Talbot, reviews current tapeless image acquisition methods and the versatility of solid-state recorders from a Production and Post-Production perspective. Featuring Sony XD-CAM EX, Panasonic P2 as well as other flash media technologies. 10am to Noon.

July 22 - Depth of Field

Equipment Tech Adam Van Voorhis highlights the latest depth of field adaptors with a focus on how to enhance the cinematic value of video cameras. Featured: Letus, Pro 35 and Mini 35 adaptors. 10am to Noon.

July 29 - Point of View

Director of Engineering Services Ian Tosh showcases the latest POV cameras demonstrating their value in capturing difficult and interesting shots. Featuring: Sony HSR-MC1, Iconix HD-RH1, Toshiba 1K HD1H and associated recorders. 10am to Noon.
