Reminder--Oscar Night America is this Sunday

(PROVIDENCE, RI) - Anne Mulhall, owner of LDI Casting in Rhode Island, will be honored with the 'Dream Maker Award' on Sunday, February 22 at the American Diabetes Association's Oscar Night® America party in Providence. Mulhall will be recognized for her work in casting for film, television, voice-overs, live performance and historic reenactments. Her long list of credits include "Hachiko: A Dog's Story" starring Richard Gere and Joan Allen, "27 Dresses" starring Kathryn Heigl, "Dan In Real Life" starring Steve Carell and Julliette Binoche, Walt Disney's "Underdog" starring Jim Belushi, and three seasons of the Peabody award-winning Showtime television series, "Brotherhood."

"It is an honor to announce that Ms. Anne Mulhall will be receiving the Dream Maker Award, a first of an annual tradition for the American Diabetes Association and their Oscar Night® America in Providence," said Steven Feinberg, Executive Director of the RI Film Council and the honorary chairperson of the Oscar Night® America committee. "Anne Mulhall represents the best of Rhode Island because she inspires and mentors our local talent while providing them with a host of opportunities to shine on screen and to make their dreams a reality." Working with the film and television community, Mulhall has had an enormous positive impact on charities across Rhode Island. "Without question, Anne Mulhall is a Rhode Island treasure. She truly represents what the Dream Maker Award is all about."

"Dress to impress" in Hollywood glitz and glam as the red carpet is rolled out just for you. Benefiting the American Diabetes Association, guests will experience the thrills and surprises of the 81st Academy Awards® on Sunday, February 22, 2009 at Providence's Oscar Night® America party, which will be held at the Federal Reserve Building. Red Carpet arrivals will be covered live by ABC6 during their 30-minute live Oscar Night America Red Carpet Special. The event is black-tie optional.
