Sunday, December 7, 2008 in W. Brookfield, MA in the Snow!!! We hope to enter this Magical Episode in Various Short Film Festivals! Add this Credit to your Reel! We will Shoot Amidst A Real Special Event – White Christmas on The Common! Picture a Norman Rockwell Painting!
Warm up near the roasting chestnuts on an open fire and listen to the bells ringing on the horses as they pull a wagon full of revelers. The wagon will provide free rides around the Common from 2 to 5 p.m.
Events of the day will culminate with the lighting of 2,000 white lights hung on the Town Common’s 70-foot-high spruce tree at 5:45 p.m. The tree will be surrounded with 100 luminarias, and carols will be sung by all. To cap off the day, a very special concert featuring the Quaboag Choral Society, directed by Eric Von Bleicken will be held in the Great Hall, on the second floor of Town Hall, at 6:45 p.m. Also performing will be local violinist Samantha Gillogly. Father Christmas, clad in his fur-trimmed burgundy robe, will drop by to tell a tale to all.
