Seeking Producer, Director, Crew, Editor for Short Film to Shoot in Boston Area

From Tara...

Current MFA fiction-writing candidate seeks a producer, director, crew, and editor (unpaid) to collaborate with for one of two short scripts:
“Petty Crime,” 13-minute drama
Story involves a troubled young woman who, after a fight with her mother and after getting fired from her job, resorts to stealing money. But an encounter with a homeless man changes her outlook. Script is nonlinear, told in five parts.
“Eco-Friendly,” 9-minute mockumentary
A filmmaker wants to make a science-fiction porn film. She interviews potential actors for the film, pairs them up, and guides them through the initial rehearsal. In the process she waxes philosophical about psychology, filmmaking, and the science fiction genre.
Filming needs to be under way by the end of November. Writer can provide polished script, interested actors, cast breakdown, and some props. Writer would like to have the film ready to submit to festivals by spring 2009.
Contact details: Tara at tararat@comcast.net. Writer bio will be provided for interested parties, if desired.

(This is not an RIFC Production)
