Premiere of "Three Tears, A Prince and a Forest"

From Mark Fogarty:

I just wanted to spread the good word, my friend Kris Avedisian's Feature Film "Three, Tears a Prince and a Forest" is playing Tuesday, one night only at The Columbus theatre. I had a chance to watch the film on DVD and loved it (I watched it twice). It is a really unique and weirdly funny film about a troupe of puppeteers, the "Magic Buddies," that get a chance at the big time.

The film will play as a fundraiser to help Kris make his next film, which will be an RIFC production. He needs a good sized audience so if you can make it out there I highly suggest you go. It is a great way to support a local artist and see something you otherwise might not get to see.

Kris is a really talented filmmaker with a unique voice and there is a chance he will be a major filmmaker someday, so think of it as seeing "Slacker" or "Welcome To The Dollhouse" before anyone knew the names of Todd Solondz or Richard Linklater.

Check it out. It starts at 7:30 at The Columbus Theatre in Providence. Here is a trailer of the film.

I hope to see you there,
Mark Fogarty
