Screenplay Animation Night

Screenplay Animation Night - We bring your scripts to life!

We are combining original scripts/screenplays with a variety of voices in the community voices – from poetry slammers to local actors. Our first session will be at from 8:00PM-10:00PM (with mingle time at 7:30PM) this Thursday, April 5, 2007 at The Brooklyn Coffee & Teahouse.

Anthony Demings, AKA Tony, of Brooklyn Coffee and Tea, provides us with our 1st screenplay to animate, “Children of the Asylum”.

It's about how a child becomes an orphan and is depicted in the 1940s. It is man becomes a father and a local woman becomes a mother and she is confronted on her reality to give up her child to an orphanage. It consists of Military officers, USO club girls, Local bully, Family father and mother, and daughters...

Depending on the number voices that show up for the event, we can easily double up on smaller parts as well. We hope for this to be a monthly event, followed another fun activity like eclectic karaoke, or viewing a short film or two, etc. This is a service to any screen/script writer and is a fun activity for those of us that like to hear ourselves talk J.
