| 48 Hour Film Project
There's still time to register for the Providence 48HFP. On July 13th, teams will meet up at the RIFC headquarters and be given a character, a prop, a line of dialogue and a genre. They then have 48 hours to go off and write, produce and edit a movie. They'll return to RIFC on Sunday the 15th to drop off their finished works and we'll screen all finished works later that week. Meet other Southern New England filmmakers, spend 48 hours in intense movie making, have your film screened at CinemaWorld and compete to represent Providence against the other 48HFP cities around the world. The top films from around the world screen each year at the Cannes Film Festival. |
Register
Registration costs $175 per team. Space is limited, so register today! There is no limit to the number of people each team can hold and you'll then be privy to fascinating and hilarious emails from our producers. Register here. If you want to join an existing team, sign up here to be put on a list visible to Team Leaders who are looking for extra talent. |

| Screenings
Screenings for the 48HFP films will be on July 17, 18 and 19 at Cinema World. There will be two screenings each night - one at 7pm and another at 9:30pm. Filmmakers, their friends, people who have nothing whatsoever to do with the 48 - everyone is encouraged to attend. And by "encouraged", I mean "pressured to the point of almost feeling threatened". Go to the screenings. |
