The Media Education Team of the RI Arts Learning Network is sponsoring “Give Me Five” in support of youth filmmaking in RI school and community media education programs. The event is a chance for young filmmakers (aged 14-18) and their teachers to showcase and discuss their short films with each other, and with outstanding professionals from the community.
The focus of the event is media education, and each showcase film will be discussed with the youth filmmaker and professionals from the film industry. The event is free and open to the public. Donations of cash or canned goods will accepted. All cash donations will go to defray costs of the showcase. Canned goods will be donated to a food bank.
