Philm Pharm Announcement / OU2 crew/casting Call (paid)

Philm Pharm is a small new collective of filmmakers with a simple mission: to create cool films and have fun doing it. We have an open forum where anyone can suggest stories and bring scripts. Not only do we talk about films but we ACTUALIZE them. We have a number of experienced directors, DPs, writers, and producers on board. Join our group if you enjoy working in a collaborative atmosphere or have an idea for a short that MUST be made. We believe the best form of networking is working and we're looking for more crew, writers, experienced directors, producers, and actors.

Philm Pharm has a number of comedies, horror, and sci-fi shorts in the works. Currently, we're on our third film, OU2 (tentatively titled). We are hoping to appeal to nostalgic videogamers and fans of Office Space. Targeting disgruntle office workers everywhere in a show that doesn't take itself seriously.

OU2 follows the misadventures of a bunch of quirky employees at a video game company that is on the brink of financial meltdown. In episode 1, the company hires a supposed efficiency expert whose consultation does not make any sense and annoys the group.
Some positions are paid/Great opportunity to learn.

Tim Parker, male, 25. The company's graphic artist lacks confidence and is always one wise crack from being fired, but he excels at his job.

Otto von Hausenfus, male, 36. The arrogant German programmer who everyone hates (except Dan) and would get fired if he wasn't the best programmer in the business. He argues that the Germans invented everything.

Dan O'Brien, 37, male. Dan is the ultra cool, counter culture, Beatnik marketing manager.

Bo Vine, male 40-60. He is the cleaning guy that came with the leased building. He is crude and uneducated, but if you listen carefully, he makes more sense than the management.

Tracy Tippi, female, 24. She's a fresh out of law school, beautiful ice princess. She was hired to handle the many legal problems caused by Fred.

Phil Gordon, male, 45-60. He is the boring company accountant. He is so lacking in personality that he must have another life outside of work.

Guest characters:
Bob, male, 45, (recurring character) The company consultant who does nothing for the company but makes a fortune doing it. He is so good at masquerading his laziness that only hard working people notice.

Al, male 55. He is the factory manager. The factory is sold in the pilot episode so he's gone before the next pay period.
